MS Oasis of the Seas is an Oasis-class cruise ship in the fleet of Royal Caribbean International. The first of her class, she is expected to be joined by her sister ship Allure of the Seas. Both vessels are expected to cruise the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She set a new record of carrying over 6000 passengers. Ships this size….why bother? Visit any entertainment complex or large modern shopping center at a seaside town, and you’ve got the same experience at 1/10th the aprice. The design goal of these huge ships appears to be eliminating as much of the sailing experience as possible from time onboard, replacing it instead with dreary, commercial landside amusements. Thanks, but I can find many more interesting things to do with the price of a ticket on this floating Mall of America.

I’m going on nieuw Amsterdam on November 2011!!!! We were ganna go on oasis of the seas but I thought it would be WAY to expensive so instead we are going on a mid sized ship

The Allure of the seas her sister is 25 stories tall and is Around 150 feet longer than Oasis of the seas. I have gone on both ships had have to say i Liked allure better for the fact she had more stuff to do so you never wanted to get off.
